Like many other addicted multitaskers I’ve found that I can’t seem to pile enough stuff onto my plate. Not only am I working on the second book of the Coulder Ridge Series as well as editing the second book, but I’m also drafting the vampire handbook for my Midnight Chronicles, along with the Bunny Music and Snippet Thursday blog posts. It seems as if I haven’t got enough to do so I’m adding another blog post to my fortnightly blog list. This one isn’t so bad though. All I’m doing is writing up a quick advertisement for the book that I’m currently reading. The first post, as you can tell from the title, is the fifth book in Rachel Vincent’s Shifters series. I’m a religious reader of this serious and was incredibly excited about buying this new book. Which I purchased from BIG W for $13.48, bargain!
Shifter, Book #5 (The Shifters)
Being the first female werecat enforcer isn’t easy. Scars accumulate, but I’m stronger in so many ways.
As for my personal life? It’s complicated. Choices worth making always are. Ever since my brother’s death and my father’s impeachment, it’s all I can do to prevent more blood
from spilling. Now our Pride is under attack by a flight of vicious thunderbirds. And making peace with our new enemies may be the only way to get the best of our old foe.
With the body count rising and treachery everywhere, my instincts tell me to look before I leap. But sometimes a leap of faith is the only real option…
Blurb from Rachel Vincent’s website, http://www.rachelvincent.com
I’m only about three chapters in so far, but it’s very very good. It’s been a while since I’ve read the last book so some things I’ve had to be reminded about but other than that I’m loving it. Anyone who likes paranormal romances about shifters would be advised to read this series. I didn’t say Werewolves because they aren’t wolves, but cats. Wonderfully sexy and brutally violent cats, meow!
This book is available for purchase @ amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, Borders, Book s-A-Million and of course Big W in Australia.
